Your journey begins here.

Rest up. Intensive learning and massive fun lie ahead.

arrival & welcome bbq

Your journey to French's Point may not be a short one. That's okay. There's a cold drink and a yummy bbq awaiting you on the other side. We'll break the ice with round-table dinner conversation and our keynote speaker Ed Kashi will share his experience about the importance of personal projects.

finding your project

Hope you slept well! We'll be up and at 'em with a group breakfast and then head to nearby Belfast where we'll immerse ourselves in documenting the people and places of small town life. Ed Kashi and our mentors will be on hand to help you identify a personal project to pursue for the duration of the workshop.

Tuesday & Wednesday

You. Alone. With your camera. You may find yourself photographing in a house, at a school, on a boat. These days will start early and go late.

OK, so we won't totally abandon you. And we'll check in during the day to provide some one-on-one attention. At night you'll review your work in a formal critique session. We'll keep the coffee pot on.

Thursday & Friday

final ediT & LObster bake

Your mentors will curate a selection of your images to be color-corrected and assembled into a slideshow. That evening, after a classic New England lobster bake, you'll share your work under the stars.

We'll party. We'll hug. And we'll say our farewells on Friday morning.
